At ACT, Your Work Makes a Difference

Education has power – a power that changes lives forever. It creates opportunities that lift up individuals, their families, and sparks societal change that echoes through generations to come. From our grassroots we have fought the good fight for equity in education, and we remain devoted to helping anyone who struggles to access that power. This is what matters to us and we must do better -- we’ve never been more sure of our purpose.

ACT team members are part of an organization dedicated to a mission that has never been more important: Helping people achieve education and workplace success. Advancing that mission within our organization, by helping our team members achieve education and workplace success of their own, is core to our values. ACT values a diverse workplace and is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable environment in which every team member has an opportunity to grow.

We want our team members to have the well-being and confidence they need to do their best work, in an environment where both they and ACT thrive. To support this, our total rewards include company paid life insurance, medical, dental, vision, flexible health and dependent spending accounts, 401(k) retirement savings with company match, paid holidays, paid time off, and so much more. You can find a comprehensive list of our benefits here.

We are seeking a Senior Product Business Manager to help us fulfill that mission.

The Senior Product Business Manager owns the annual operating lifecycle of the B2G business, driving onboarding, renewal, and readiness activities that reset with each school year and contract duration. This role keeps the day-to-day business operations of the B2G product team running smoothly so that Product Managers can focus on strategy, roadmap, and build decisions. This is an execution and operations focused role: the primary point of contact for operational and contractual matters, the product liaison for cross-functional partners, and the person who makes sure testing dates, pricing, contracts, and specialized deliverables happen accurately and on time. Rather than focusing on product strategy, this role owns the operational machinery that makes the B2G roadmap executable and keeps existing commitments on track.

The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $105,000. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity.

Location: This is a remote position, based in the United States.

Visa: Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship.

Please Note: This Position will be posted as Internally Only from 10/9/26 through 10/16/26. After 10/16/26 it will also be posted Externally.

What you will be working on:

  • Manage ongoing operations for the product area, including day-to-day operational decisions, incident resolutions, and customer escalations.
  • Own cross-functional communications and documentation to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely updates on status and changes.
  • Manage Behind-the-Scenes readiness activities to ensure the product team and the organization are prepared ahead of key events.
  • Participate in annual product activities such as setting and communicating test dates and testing cycles for upcoming years.
  • Manage pricing updates and ensure they are reflected accurately across systems, order forms, and contracts.
  • Update and maintain annual order forms, contracts, and other contractual documents.
  • Coordinate specific contractual deliverables and special data delivery requests, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion.
  • Support the product team by managing updates result in contractual changes.
  • Coordinate B2G product responses and contribute assignments to RFPs, providing operational and contractual detail.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and B2G product liaison for customers, partners, and internal teams on operational and contractual matters.

Role Progression:

  • 30 Days: Onboard and begin to understand stakeholders, begin to work on the B2G annual calendar, and start learning the RFP process.
  • 90 Days: Independent day-to-day decisions, primary point of contact for assigned responsibilities, participate in contract renewals and pricing update cycle, and understanding administration readiness.
  • 180 Days: Leading an annual cycle activity end to end, process improvements, a stakeholder communication cadence, and recommending 12-month priorities with the Product Managers.

This could be the job for you if you have (minimum requirements):

  • 5+ years experience in product operations, business operations, or program management, ideally within a product organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency managing contracts, pricing, order forms, and other business documentation.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally within the product team and across business stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

It’s a plus if you have:
